Establishing the enterprise with great efforts and developing at a high speed [1997-1999]
        At the beginning of the establishment of the company, it was the time when Asian financial storm occurred. In the adverse market, Evergrande Group seized the opportunity and adopted the strategy of “short development time, low price, and fast construction and sales”. With the development concept of “priority on the environmental supporting facilities”, the first project Jinbi Garden created the sales miracle that the buyers queued to buy the houses even at nigh and the daily income reached a hundred million yuan. After that, through the hard work for three years, Evergrande, in 1999, stood out from over 1,600 real estate enterprises then in Guangzhou, and ranked among the top 10 enterprises of Guangzhou for the first time.

Practicing hard for tamping the foundation [2000-2002]
        After the rapid development for over three years, in 2000, Evergrande Group began to put forth efforts on effectively integrating the resources and standardizing the development process, and began to pay attention to the management for promoting the beneficial results and for supporting the future development.  It developed and reserved several projects at the same time in Guangdong area, and developed and sold several projects of the Jinbi series one after another such as Jinbi Palace, Jinbi New City, and Jinbi Century Garden. In 2000, the ranking of Evergrande in Guangzhou increased to No. 6.

Secondary startup of the enterprise, expanding projects in the whole country [2003-2005]
        After the development of the previous two stages, the comprehensive strength of Evergrande Group has remarkably increased, and the development potential has become more and more prominent. In 2003, Evergrande ranked No. 1 among the real estate enterprises with enterprise competitiveness in Guangdong. Since 2004, Evergrande has called for the “secondary startup of the enterprise”, and has paid attention to the operational strategy of “finding a foothold in Guangzhou, developing projects in the whole country, and fully expanding the development space of the industry”. In 2004, Evergrande ranked among top 10 real estate enterprises of China for the first time. It simultaneously developed and sold over 10 projects such as Jinbi Jade Residence and Jinbi Harbor in Guangzhou, thus preliminarily becoming competent in expanding projects all over the country in the aspects such as the development experience, good reputation of the brand, scale and strength.

Evergrande has substantively leaped in the scale and brand by strategically developing about 50 projects in more than 20 major cities such as Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenyang, Wuhan, Chengdu and Nanjing. Evergrande has also achieved supernormal noticeable development in the first-rate management team and the successful development mode, thus winning the favor of international capital tycoons. Evergrande has accumulatively raised the capital of more than 1 billion USD in the international capital market, thus becoming the benchmark of Chinese real estate enterprises in internationalization.

Steady operation to scale new heights [2009 to present]
        Evergrande has further substantively leaped in the scale and brand by strategically developing more than 200 projects in more than 100 major cities such as Guangzhou, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing and Shenzhen.
        On November 5, 2009, Evergrande was successfully listed on SEHK. On the same day, the closing price of its shares appreciated by 34.28% than the issue price, setting a record of the total market value of 70.5 billion Hong Kong dollars, making the Company a mainland enterprise with the largest market value in Hong Kong.
        In 2010, the Company has succeeded in issuing bonds worth USD 2.75 billion, setting a record of the largest scale in the global bond issuing of the real estate enterprises in China, with the full-year sales volume of 50.4 billion yuan.
        Since 2011, Evergrande has continued the high0growth trend. In the first half year, it ranked first in China in terms of many core indicators including the sales area, the main business income, the net profit and the area under construction, with the total assets of more than 150 billion yuan and the brand value of more than 21 billion yuan.

In the future, after winning the advantage of being the leading real estate enterprise in the country, Evergrande will further expand the international market, explore more top international partners in more industries based on the existing internationalized business and construct the international industrial cluster with the advanced international management experience as a source for reference, so as to build a worldwide top enterprise with international competitiveness.
